Connect’s regeneration work showcased in national publication
A project initiated by Connect Housing has been highlighted in a national publication showcasing the work of housing associations around the country. The Woodland Mount pocket park in Chapeltown, Leeds was created from a piece of derelict ground with a great deal of community involvement in the design and delivery. The park now provides a safe and attractive recreational space for young and old alike, and is has been a great addition to the neighbourhood.

Connect Housing started in 2006, when The Ridings and West Yorkshire Housing Associations came together. The result? A single association, passionate about housing and neighbourhoods. We are a Registered Social Landlord operating on a not-for-profit basis under charitable rules.
We manage:
- almost 1,800 general needs homes
- over 700 properties for older people
- housing with support for almost 300 people
- over 100 shared ownership homes
... plus student housing and a wide range of support and regeneration services across the whole of Leeds and Kirklees districts and in Calderdale and Wakefield.
